About the editorsAndrea Ott studied law at the University of Cologne. She worked at the Chair for International and European Law of the University of Greifswald where she obtained her PhD (which focused on the integration of GATT/WTO law into the EC legal order) in 1996. From 1998 until 2003 she worked as a senior research fellow in European Law and International Economic Law at the T.M.C. Asser Institute in the Hague, the Netherlands, and in 2002/2003 as a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She is now lecturer in European Union Law at the Universiteit Maastricht.
Kirstyn M. Inglis studied law at Dundee University in Scotland and enrolled as a solicitor with the Scots Law Society in 1990. Since her time at university she has concentrated on European law working first as a solicitor with city law firms in Brussels and London and then in specialist consultancies in Brussels, as a consultant to both private and public organisations on EU chemicals, agri-food and environment law. Since 1998 she has been with the European Institute as a legal researcher. Her main field of interest is EU eastwards enlargement with a focus on food and environmental law. |
